coco-love-alcornCoco Love Alcorn (ON)
Coco is the queen of the collaboration, the gel of the jam. Her shows are an invitation to connect, an invitation to sing, and an invitation to be swept away by great melody, catchy lyrics and winning performances. Her career has spanned over 20 years, 10 albums, cross-Canada tours and award nominations.

Dave GunningDave Gunning (NS)
With a career spanning 20 years and 11 albums, Dave Gunning is truly a masterful storyteller known for distilling the essence of a nation into iconic and anthemic folk songs, traversing territory as diverse as hockey, hardships, love, the pulp mill and grass roots activism with the kind of personal touch that has put him in the company of such lauded Canadian luminaries as Stan Rogers, John Allan Cameron and Gordon Lightfoot. His latest album, Lift offers an honest acoustic sound that proves to be the perfect vehicle for his neatly-crafted and poetic material and gently expressive vocals. A world-class songwriter and entertainer, Dave will be joined by accomplished musician, Allie Bennett to deliver an unforgettable evening of entertainment. Give yourself a Lift and check out the work of an authentic artist at his creative peak.
dylan-menzie-pressphotoDylan Menzie (PEI)
With a sprawling vocal range and compelling approach to composition, PEI's Dylan Menzie made an indelible mark in the talent-rich Atlantic Canadian music market. In 2016, he was a finalist in CBC's annual Searchlight competition on the back of his breakout single, "Kenya," which then spent two weeks at number one on CBC Radio 2's Top 20 leading up to the release of his 2016 album Adolescent Nature. Drawing clear influence from the likes of My Morning Jacket, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, and Joel Plaskett without being derivative of any one, the quality of these songs heavily belies the young artist's age. He's performed alongside acts like City & Colour and Ron Sexsmith and at major events like Canadian Music Week and the Edmonton Folk Festival, and if he continues on his current trajectory of each new song, each new release eclipsing its predecessor, he'll soon be impossible to ignore.

"Striking, Powerful and full of depth and range" -Exclaim
Erin's music has been streamed over half million times, viewed hundreds of thousands of times online and earned a position on !earshot's Most Played of 2016 chart. Both of Erin's most recent ECMA award winning CDs are heavily influenced by 60s pop/RnB that harkens back to the Shirelles, Bob Dylan, Carole King and Laura Nyro. In addition to her own material, Erin performs covers by Carole King, Bob Dylan, Randy Newman and Nina Simone. A good sing-a-long always seems to happen at every show.

They are seasoned veterans in the live music touring establishment who know how to cater to a crowd, keep the volume low, be personable and engage an audience.
ian-sherwoodIan Sherwood (NS)
Through the use of live looping, multi instrumentalism and solid songwriting Ian will highlight some of his signature ear worm songs and demonstrate why he has become a festival favourite with his east coast charm and stage charisma while showing how he can command an audience of any size. Ian sings about relatable issues such as love, forgiveness, regret, harmony, and uses creative word-play and music techniques to captivate listeners. poor-nameless-boy-pressphotoPoor Nameless Boy (SK)
As Poor Nameless Boy, Regina-based indie folk artist Joel Henderson leaves a piece of himself on stage every time he performs. His mellow sound is personal, speaking honestly about love, life, and our changing hearts in a busy world. He has been described as a lighter version of Noah Gunderson with the wispy sounds of Gregory Alan Isakov. He is humble and pensive, yet engages with audiences with his passionate range of vocals and songs with stories, sung from the soul. Music is in Joel's blood with his father and brother as influences, so it comes naturally to him. He is a singer-songwriter to the core, and you can hear every ounce of meaning and emotion in each word and every note.
ladomPrairie Debut presents The Ladom Ensemble (ON/QC)
Ladom Ensemble is a musical amalgamation that defines Canada. Drawing from the traditions of Persian, Balkan, South American, Turkish, European, and the occasional pop music, these four musicians effortlessly weave it all into a contemporary classical framework. In short, Ladom doesn't represent any one tradition, it projects a beautiful, new world. With a unique combination - accordion, world percussion, cello, and piano - they create a distinct yet accessible sound, performing both original compositions and familiar arrangements. As CBC's Robert Rowat sums them up, "they achieve that delicate balance between emulating the song and placing a unique stamp on it."
